
I’m always excited to find yet another exquisite piece Caroline Ferriday donated to a New York City Museum. This time it’s the wonderful patriotic scarf above, which she gifted to the Cooper Hewitt Museum in 1947. There’s so much to admire here–I especially love the Star Spangled Banner along the edges.

I’m so grateful Caroline had the foresight to protect these lovely things so we can enjoy them forever.
