Atlanta’s Scott’s Flea Market is famous for good reason. It offers two airplane hanger-sized warehouses full of antiques and other old stuff. Such fun and can even help mix business with pleasure, since I’ve found lots of old things there that help me better understand the era I write about.
That’s where I found this giant sample book of men’s fashions from the Tailor Made Clothing Company. One of my Lilac Girls male characters dresses well and it helped to get an inside look at men’s clothing.

What’s up with those boy scouts?

Is it just me or does the man on the left look like a young Matt Lauer in a Pharrell hat?

The original man-purse

My favorite is this one for the huskier figure.

Those great, satin lapels! Funny they put clerical on this page…

Lots of great fabric samples
