The new West Tisbury Library is a great gift to the community and shopping at their annual book sale is a wonderful way to support it.

I missed the early days of the sale (thank you, Jim Fitzpatrick for the reminder) and only made the “free” day, but even that was such fun. Though technically free, most shoppers made a voluntary contribution to the cause, well worth it, for everyone seemed to be leaving happily laden with cardboard boxes of books.

It’s always fun to find a scrap of something in a book…

this is a lovely column about a weekend in the country someone cut out and saved.

Love this left behind I found in another book…the postcard caption crossed out and an anniversary message written on the back. Frugal!

Such a great book–love Katharine Hepburn’s strong Yankee voice. And the pictures.
