You’ll love Caroline’s risque photographer to the stars: Edward Thayer Monroe

 The portrait below of Caroline Ferriday, taken by Edward Thayer Moore popular theatrical photographer, is tamer than Thayer’s later work, much of which often featured scantily clad showgirls. Caroline, one of the three main characters in Lilac Girls, was a society girl and Broadway actress and performed mostly Shakespeare early in her career.
